Lee Lamb currently resides in Honolulu, Hawaii and works with some of the most competitively successful volleyball teams at the Juniors and High School level (Local and National). Prior to his move, Lee grew up in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he received his first opportunity as a coach with Jim Clougherty and his Central Delaware Juniors Volleyball Club (CDJVC) and Brian Lessard from Saint Thomas More Academy (STMA). In 2003, Lee arrived in Hawaii and has been trying to humbly expand on his past and current success (read below). Prior to his arrival on Oahu... Lee helped lead a new Saint Thomas More Academy program to 2 State tournament berths in their first 3 years of existence. In the fall of 2002, Lee helped lead an STMA team of eight players (4 of which were Freshmen) to Delaware’s State Tournament Since his arrival on Oahu... Lee has been an assistant and head coach for Coach Luis and ARVC since his arrival in Honolulu 4 years ago. Lee assisted Luis with his boys' 16s team that went on to finish 3rd at the Junior Olympics and with his girls' 14s the following year while heading up the boys 12u program. Lee has since served as the head coach for the boys 14s and boys 16s. During the high school season Lee headed up the competitive Intermediate and Junior Varsity teams for Iolani. During his two years with Iolani's Boys Program, Lee led teams to a 17-3 regular season record. He also assisted coach Luis with the Iolani Girls' Varsity program that went on to finish second in the State Championships. During the summer months after the Junior Olympics, Lee returns to Delaware to put on team and coaching clinics for a number of the High Schools in his former conference. Lee is proud to report that STMA continues to climb the ladder of success each year. In 2003, STMA grabbed their highest State Tournament seed coming in at number 10. In 2004, they acquired a Conference Title and posted an impressive 15-4 regular season record. In 2005, they were the first central or southern county team to make it to the Quarterfinals of the State Tournament. Lee is committed to the game, players and his own pursuit of excellent. He loves the game and makes every effort to involve people in bringing awareness to the game. He is committed to helping players realize their dreams; providing them opportunities to expand their knowledge of the game and increase skill proficiency. And last, he’s committed to pursuing every educational opportunity that presents itself. As he improves his understanding of the game, Lee shares his knowledge with others in an effort to help improve the game, players and other coaches.
